Parish Organizations

Choir

Formed in 1912, the choir joins the priest, deacons, and altar servers in celebrating the Divine Liturgy every Sunday morning by singing the beautiful hymns of the Divine Liturgy. Open to all women and men, the choir attracts both novice and professional singers. Since 2013, the youth choir has given the children of the parish the opportunity to learn Armenian hymns and participate periodically in Divine Liturgy.

Erevan Choral Society

In January 1966, the Erevan Choral Society was born. Under the direction of the late Father Oshagan Minassian, members of the choir began to experiment in Armenian choral music with a spirited commitment to perpetuate Armenian musical culture and to provide exciting, multi-cultural programs of the highest quality. Among its many accomplishments, the Erevan Choral Society is best known around Greater Boston for its popular annual Christmas concert. The chorus consists of dedicated and gifted singers complemented by a professional orchestra. New members are invited to join their ranks and share in the joy of singing beautiful music and cultural enrichment.

1000 Club

Through the use of a cash lottery available to only a limited 1000 members, the organization’s goal is to raise additional funds to help meet the general obligations for the church. Each membership is $60 per year. The member has the ability to win one of twelve cash prizes ranging from $50 to $1000 at each monthly drawing. The drawing is held on the last Thursday of each month. Two drawings per year feature a dinner social event.

Trinity Men’s Union

Promoting Christian fellowship among men, the Trinity Men’s Union has been an integral part of parish life since the church’s inception. It is an excellent forum to network and meet new friends in a relaxed social atmosphere. Meetings, featuring dinner and generally a speaker, are at 6 pm on the second Monday of each month. Once a year a joint dinner meeting is held with the St. James Armenian Church Men’s Club. Fundraisers are held each year and the proceeds are donated to the church.

Women of Holy Trinity

Since 2013, the parish has focused on revitalizing its programming for women. The Women’s Guild, which served the parish well for over 50 years, is evolving to meet the needs and interests of the women of today. With a focus on social, educational, and spiritual programming, the women are “gathering” to meet periodically and have mapped out 8 areas of focus including: book club, education, fundraising, heritage, hospitality, mentoring/networking, outreach/service. and spiritual.
